WHO ARE WE?
MOYA or Moms of Young Adults is a group of like minded Christian women in a transitional season of life. We have raised our kiddos: some are off to college, others may still have one or two home and still others may be empty nesters. But one thing for sure is that our roles as Moms have shifted, and when asked what we like to do in our new found free time, we draw a complete blank. Our bodies and emotions are doing strange and unrecognizable things having us crying in line at Trader Joe's, and to top it off we may need to date our husbands. With all this, God has so many blessings for us, and He will walk along side and guide us as we gracefully transition together in a loving, supportive, nonjudgemental space.
MOYA MONDAYS
MOYA meets bi-monthly and is a time for women in the same season of life to create and/or deepen friendships with like minded women that want to do life together. Our MOYA Mondays will consist of an organic time of sharing, deepening relationships and gleaning from one another. As well as monthly outings that provide a time to get together and laugh.
I have to wonder if through God's grace and mercy He gives us this "down-time" between raising kids and our grandkids to recalibrate, and the space to focus on ourselves as well as using our gifts and experiences to walk along side and lift up others. Who better to navigate the ups and downs of this time then girlfriends who are on the same ride?
As Proverbs 27:17 states, "Iron sharpens iron, and one women sharpens another."
DOING LIFE TOGETHER
As we go through this season, we will walk along side one another, learn from each other, we will laugh and possibly cry, yet through it all we will not be alone. With Christ at the center, we will surrender all to Him and share in one of life's greatest transitions as He intended-TOGETHER.
Meetings are the 2nd & 4th Monday's 10-12 mostly in
Costa Mesa, CA.
